*cue Star Wars Theme*

Welcome! Can you believe it's been 20 years since the Star Wars Special Editions were released? Especially weird considering THAT release was in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original film's release!

No matter your opinions on the special editions (now sadly the only editions), you have to admit, if you were alive at the time, it was exciting. You got to see the phenomenon in theater! And in a way you hadn't seen them before! Added shots, cleaned-up  picture and sound (the film prints were apparently in terrible shape), and improved effects! So come join us in nostalgiaville as we talk the Special Editions, and really the trilogy as a whole.

(Look out for more Star Wars talk in the not-so-long future!)

Austin has said he wasn't going to review The Killing Joke for Comics For Rent, SO we decided to go bigger.

The week we're covering two Batman animated movies that were bafflingly released back-to-back, Alan Moore's The Killing Joke, and Return of the Caped Crusaders, the '66 Batman movie (with returning cast). One is bad beyond belief, and one is Return of the Caped Crusaders (yeah, you knew which we were going to like). Join us as we contrast these two wildly different interpretations of Batman!

As you may well know, Time Travel is an easy way to sell a film for us. Not always, but say it involves time travel, and we're all "go onnnn..". WELL strap in because this week have the mother (and father) of all time travel films to talk about, and we have a guest along for the ride!

We have columnist AJ Muller with us to talk Predestination! A movie that was seemingly dropped into the filmic landscape with no other explanation besides itself, Predestination is impossible to talk about with delving into MASSIVE spoilers, so be warned.. this cast is one giant spoiler. HOWEVER that's not to say that knowing what happens prepares you for the film, because it does not. So grab your seatbelts folks, as we talk Predestination!

You can find AJ Muller's writings at Daily Grindhouse as well as Horror View, where you can read his article on Predestination.

You can also find AJ on Twitter: @aj_macready
